Please join the Department of Economics for the spring 2014 Marsh & McLennan: NERA Economic Consulting Lecture Series featuring GW economics alumna Sandra Pianalto, CCAS MA ‘85. Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland President Sandra Pianalto will put a spotlight on the importance of education and innovation in spurring long-term economic growth.

As Pianalto_Sandra_fullsize.jpgpresident and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Ms. Pianalto has both national and local leadership responsibilities. She participates in the formulation of U.S. monetary policy, and she oversees 950 employees in Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh who conduct economic research, supervise financial institutions, and provide payment services to commercial banks and the U.S. government.
