Fifth Annual Allan B. Weingold Lecture
Vaccinations During Pregnancy – Should You Do It?

Presented by Jill Davies, MD ’93, GME ‘97
Associate Professor, University of Colorado, Denver
School of Medicine

Vaccinations during pregnancy are underutilized. In this presentation Dr. Davies will address vaccinations in general but specifically focus on vaccinations during pregnancy, particularly influenza and Tdap. She will expand the practitioner’s knowledge about influenza, tetanus and pertussis infections with specific focus on the pregnant woman and her newborn, as well as review the rationale for the most current iterations of recommendations for vaccination in the pregnant woman.
