GW American Studies Celebration of John Vlach

Please join the Department of American Studies, Marcie Ferris CCAS PHD ‘03, Associate Professor of American Studies at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Paul Gardullo CCAS MPHIL ’02 PHD ‘06, Curator at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and Jurretta Jordan Heckscher CCAS PHD ‘00, Research Specialist at Library of Congress as they celebrate the distinguished career of Professor John Michael Vlach.

As a curator and consultant for many museums, historical societies and libraries across the country Professor Vlach has had an extensive impact on the American public. As a professor at The George Washington University he has had an even greater impact on the lives and careers of his students.
